How cute is this family? I’ve gotten to know Carrie and Brent from church, and it was a pleasure meeting their 4 beautiful children. We had a fun session, their kids are hilarious! It was so fun to see how they all interacted, and it made me really excited for what’s to come as my kids get a bit older and more independent! I could really feel the love between all of them and I think it shows in these images! Love them!!!!

Look who’s 1!

Well, actually 13 months already! Landon came all the way from Detroit Lakes for a visit! He was such a happy baby and had fun exploring the studio. Landon’s mom Krista and I went to college and it was soooo great getting to see her again! We had a perfect session, and ended it by braving the cold for a few outdoor pictures with their dog Drake What an adorable family!!!!!

Little Miss Claire brought her mom and dad to the studio for 1 year pictures. The last time I saw Claire was when she was only 6 days old! When she was born, she had complications with her heart that have resulted in more than a few surgeries over the past year. You wouldn’t know she’d been through more than most adults in her short little life if you met her. She was all smiles and crawling and exploring everything. We had so much fun at her session, and she even crawled over to me more than a couple times to see her picture on the back of the camera! TOO CUTE!!!!!! Mollie and Kyle, thanks for bringing her back to see me. You have a precious little girl! Happy Birthday Claire!

Sweet little Elle

It’s been 9 months since I’ve last seen Elle. She was a tiny little newborn only about a week old when we first met. She is still as cute as ever! Elle had fun exploring the studio and was quite the smiler Thank you Christine for bringing her back to visit me again! You now have two very beautiful little girls!!!! I hope you enjoy the preview!

Baby Lane

I had an on location newborn shoot on Friday with baby Lane. She is an absolute doll and one of the best sleepers I’ve ever had!!! She was perfect the entire time and let us play with her without so much as a tiny squeak! Lane has three extremely loving and equally beautiful older siblings who were all too excited to take turns holding her for the pictures. It was such a fun shoot and nice to be out of the studio and back on location for a change. I took advantage of Lane’s gorgeous nursery and got some fun detail shots too!!!! Marcy and Jim, thank you for allowing me to capture this very special time in your lives. Your have four amazing children! I hope you enjoy the preview! A BIG thanks to my awesome assistant Poly for all of your help and hard work yesterday!!!!

Frankie is 2!

Frankie and my good friend Vanessa came to the studio last Sunday for some 2 year pictures! I can’t BELIEVE he’s already two! I remember getting to see him the day after he was born and he was just so tiny! Now he’s running all over the place and asking “what’s that!” to everything! I SOOOOO remember those days with my kids! We had a great time taking pictures inside the studio and Frankie even showed me his “BIG” smile…..I’m sure you can guess which one that is! We ventured out even though it was only about 35 degrees out there. Vanessa and I were freezing but Frankie didn’t blink an eye! He loved exploring!

Baby number two is expected in early April and I can’t wait to meet him or her!

Brothers and sisters

What a beautiful family! I was so excited to hear that a friend of mine from college decided to book a session with his brother and sister for a birthday present to his mother. What thoughtful children! Seriously! Anyways, the 4 of us had a lot of fun! I could tell the boys weren’t exactly stoked to be getting photos taken at first (although they were still very good sports), but as the session progressed, they were definitely having lots of fun! I LOVE the way these photos turned out. I don’t often get to take pictures of grownups without children involved! It was a special treat for me! Thank you Bach, Lara and Nick for coming to see me at the studio today! Your mom must be so proud of the three of you!!!!

Baby James | Part Deux

I couldn’t get enough of my adorable little nephew on our first photo shoot so we planned another one. This time my friend Ali Hohn and I met at her studio to do some more fun things with baby James. Again, he was TOTALLY out cold, except for about 5 minutes when I got the awake shot. BEST.BABY.EVER. I’ve been so lucky to get to spend so much time with James and my sister since he’s been born. Kind of like having my own, minus the sleep deprivation! Lucky me I got this cute shot of the three cousins together!

Okay, I might be a bit biased, but baby James just might be the cutest baby ever!!! I have been waiting for baby James’ big photo shoot for 9 months since we first found out that my sister Sara was pregnant! James definitely did his job and stayed up ALL night long so he’d be nice and sleepy for the shoot today I think he only had his eyes open for a couple minutes total, so it’s amazing that I actually got a great shot of him with his eyes open! Thank you Jennie Gaskins for helping me with this shoot today. It was so much fun and I couldn’t have done it without you! Sara, you have a beautiful baby boy and I can’t wait to watch him grow up! Love you both!!!!

Baby Ada

I had the pleasure of meeting this sweet family this morning at the studio. Ada was full of smiles and even a few giggles. She was just the best little baby, and even put up with several wardrobe changes. She really loved holding onto Mommy’s necklace, and even wore it towards the end of the session! Thank you Dustin and Vicki for bringing your beautiful daughter to see me this morning! It was lots of fun! I hope you enjoy your preview!
