What a beautiful and amazing experience it was to photograph this little man’s entrance into the world. His mama was so calm and in control the whole time! She was a total rock star and made giving birth look so easy! Sarah was set on a water birth and despite getting to the hospital and being dilated almost completely she waited until the tub was filled and got to deliver Luther in the water. I remember hearing the midwife tell Sarah that if it wasn’t for her willpower that baby would have been born in the bed! I am so so thankful that this family allowed me to capture the birth of their perfect sweet little (or not so little) Luther Thomas! He was greeted just an hour after birth by his big brother and sister as well and they were pretty smitten with their new brother! I hope you enjoy this sneak peek of Luther’s birth! I can’t wait to photograph more births, it was one of the most incredible events I have ever photographed!
